Nothing special - TV antennas

This antenna performed no better and sometimes worse than the Mohu Leaf. I still couldn't turn on channel 2, even with those bars on the side. I sent it back.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Doubtful

Don't worry about the antennas

I have an $8 antenna that sticks in a paint roller frame on a 5 foot handle in a boat trailer winch post that gets 8 more channels and has a better signal than this thing. installed in the same area on a 15 ft pole. The money thrown away will be refunded.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Easy to set up but range is good but not quite as advertised.

This omnidirectional antenna is very easy to install and works very well. I live in Green Valley, Arizona and can drive to any train station from Tucson, which is about 25 miles away. I don't think you can get 65 mile reception unless you're in ideal conditions. But overall I think this antenna is about as good as it gets for an omnidirectional antenna. I would recommend it to anyone who lives within 40-45 miles of train station towers.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Less than useful for us

Before installing this device: 43 channels/streams (good, no pixelation). healthy. The confusion with the dial did not affect the received signal on the quality meter, although sometimes a pixel popped up at the very bottom. Pulled device out and threw it in the trash, rescanned, got 49 channels/streams. One star because the included cables seem to be good. Sigh.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Great reception, easy installation.

I recently cut my cable after giving up satellite TV due to terrible customer service recently. I was skeptical about the range of the antenna. I first installed it at the front of my house next to the satellite dish using this coax cable. I live on the coast of southern California and was happy to get 26 good channels including all my local stations and a few from Tijuana. I also ordered a normal mount for it and installed an antenna on it a few days later. Now there are 60 channels, including

The thing is definitely aimed. Works quite well, but not amazing.

I wanted a good antenna for HDTV and FM radio. This kit seemed to do the trick. Note that I believe the 'J' at the end of some models (like the AT-800SBSJ) means they came with a J-bar as another attachment option, like mine. It included an amplifier with a built in splitter, which was perfect as I use both the FM tuner and the Sling AirTV as endpoints. We live in a valley surrounded by mountains. There are two TV/FM transmitter antennas on the mountain tops, one about 12 miles northwest and…

  • Great price
Cons
  • Not reliable

warm welcome!

I used several different antennas for my TV - I never had cable. Most antennas (my last one was a thin "blade" design with an attached amplifier) were fine, but received few channels and were prone to signal loss, especially as I live near a small airport. Planes, helicopters and even the wind often disrupted the signal. I tried the Antop model with a desk mount near a small window that overlooks the broadcast towers next to me. All towers are within 18 miles of my house. In the table, the site

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Good but not great

The antenna I received was marked as a Nagoya antenna and arrived in nice yellow zipped packaging including a very sincere Nagoya holographic label but the seller doesn't promise it will is an "official Nagoya antenna". product, so mileage may vary. Packaging does not indicate where antenna was made, but build quality is quite good. show the same tiny gap of 0, 2mm to 0.5mm on the bottom when mounted on the UV-5R which I've seen others describe their Nagoya antennas You can easily fix this with
