Easy install but not tight enough to hold it in place. However, wrapping it with insulating tape is sufficient. Very light and well made. I would buy again.

If I had to rate this product now, I would rate it zero. But the system doesn't allow that. However, before I leave a review on this product, I would like to contact the manufacturer to inquire about a replacement for the product received. After the first attempt to install it, the parts broke and the nuts fell off so easily. I cannot currently tighten or remove it. I will attach a video to show my problem with the product. After consultation with the manufacturer I will give an update.

I have two Lectric XP e-bikes. While I love this bike, the handlebars are a bit small for everything I want. I found this extension at Revain and ordered two. I use it to mount a phone holder, move the control screen up, and add extra lighting for night and night commutes. This expander met all my expectations. It takes some patience to mount to an XP handlebar, but after that it's a great addition to a great e-bike. I highly recommend this extension.

I think the problem is that the two places it connects to the bike weren't rubberized, they were hard plastic in the inner loop so it didn't come on got stuck on my handlebars. they don't bind and stay in place, both sides rotate independently, even with repeated tightening attempts. I just gave up. If they had some rubber on the inside of the hinges that connect to the handlebars I think it would work. I thought the bar was something more massive as well, it was a very light plastic cylinder.

I ordered these on the recommendation of a Lectric XP owner and a YouTuber. The problem is that he found them hard to get running on "regular" XP wheels. Well they don't tighten on XP'x bars because the actual h/bar size is 22.75mm AND the bars IMMEDIATELY start tipping right out of the stem so you can't tighten the stays or the stays at Standard Lectric must be square H/beam. With more mods I could probably get this working, but not worth it! The seals supplied are also not of the best…

I fitted this handlebar extension to a standard single speed bike. The thinner padding was too loose. The thicker gasket was too tight and the threads couldn't grip. I had to cut open the old camera and use it with a thinner gasket. It worked; However, he still moved the steering wheel.
