Perfect fit, but found that two out of ten bearings.

We had a 6000 BTU window air conditioner that started making noise, turns out it was the fan bearing. I ordered these as a replacement. Perfect fit but found two out of ten bearings were bad making the same grinding noise. Still, we only needed two bearings, so we fixed it and started working quietly again.

These are good bearings for the price

These are good bearings for the price. They adjust to size and rotate smoothly. The surface quality of the outer surfaces is very good. Time will tell if they hold up, but I use them on a belt sander so they won't be too hard on them anyway. Please note that the product name indicates an inner diameter of 0.5 inch. The product description correctly states 12mm, but 12mm is NOT the same as half an inch. The inner diameter is about 0.7mm less than half an inch, so a 0.5 inch shank will not fit…

Pros
  • ball bearings
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

They sent stock 608zz and not 608z!

EDIT: Looks like they updated the product name to actually show "608ZZ" instead of "608Z" as it used to. Needed replacement parts for my LG AC motor. It had 608z bearings in it, I got them and tried them on the motor shaft and they just slid with almost no friction. As such, there is a size difference between the ZZ and Z models. I can't risk using them as the AC unit had to be COMPLETELY disassembled to get the motor out and I don't want to do this job more than once. That is a big problem. If
