Antrader Stainless Hardware Cabinet Spring Review

They are strong enough but less than I expected. I'd like to see a familiar object next to it in the picture, like a quarter or a ruler.

Very small, after about a month one of the latches came loose and barely works. After 3-4 months they are all rusted and hardly usable. Definitely not stainless steel.

This product was purchased to replace the plastic latches on my Frabill Ice Rod case. Great repair product and great stuff. I already mentioned great prices and fast shipping. Will definitely buy again if I need more.

I needed to find a fastener (receiver side) that I could attach to the edge of a 3/4 inch piece of plywood and it fitted perfectly. They work great, look good and are inexpensive. The only downside is that I wish they had a template with them to set the correct screw spacing. Got it after some trial and error.

My Zebra label maker didn't close tight enough and this resulted in a faded line down the middle of my labels unless I pressed the lid. Also, creases sometimes formed on the label, resulting in unsuccessful printing. I installed the latches and they hold the lid flat and tight and now I have no print variations.

LOVED the clasp itself, very well thought out, strong and beautifully painted. However, the screws are useless as you can see in the photo. If you're screwing into soft wood, they're fine. I used these latches on a thin stainless steel grill cabinet door and they didn't work. I would buy the latches again because they are well made, but plan to visit the HW store ahead of time for better quality screws.

The fasteners feel solid and look good. The only issue I've had so far is that the screws that come with it were cheap. The screw heads fell off during installation. I didn't apply a lot of pressure. They just fell out. This was the reason for not giving it 5 stars. I bought some black hinge screws and used the extra ones to screw them on. They work fine. Just buy other screws when you order these latches.

They work but I'd rather have a setup template to make sure everything is lined up correctly. I ended up bending the top of the hook slightly forward or back to get the correct tension. I know I've read the sizes on them but I'm still amazed at how small they are. They did their job for my project boxes and they don't look bad. They do not "pop" or "snap" when closed, but positive closure occurs with proper friction. I would buy them again but maybe more next time?
