Felt pads work well but they ALWAYS fall off and floor scratches are nothing compared to the annoying feeling of dog fur felt, food crumbs stuck to your toes. They installed in seconds and have been on our kitchen stools for a couple of months now - they have held up really well and I thought I'd write a review because I'm ordering more for our bar stools now!

Love it! I've used felt pads on my chairs to protect hardwood floors for decades. They had to be constantly replaced and the grip on the underside of the chair leg was poor. You were so annoying! I've been using these protectors for a few years now! Yes, they lasted that long! I threw away all my felt pads. I have recommended them to all my friends. These are the only ones I will be using from now on.

I have these cute metal stools that we keep under our covered patio, they get wet feet sometimes and start to rust on the concrete. I bought them hoping they would fit (the legs swivel small, like school stools). They're tight but super reliable, and you can't even tell they weren't there at all! New home. Great new floors. Nice kitchen stools that we use all the time. But even with some decent tips, we still saw that the floors are scratched from daily traffic. No longer. It is great. Be sure to order the correct inner diameter (ID) for your purpose. If they are too wide you can coat the caps with 5 minute epoxy or even silicone sealant and then reattach the tips of the chair legs.
