Yes it seems super cool and cool at first but after a while it starts to fall apart. You would think something like this would be able to withstand a daytime shower with little to no moisture. I just take the soap out of this holder and put it back when I'm done. I would look for something rubber, or not wood, or maybe something better.

I've never had a soap dish. I currently use it with Duke Cannon soap. After a month it is very strong and firm. Fits well in the shower and is very easy to clean. A little soapy dirt formed, but it came off in 2 seconds with a quick jet of water from the shower.
