Great micrometer for the price.

I wanted a set of escapement micrometers for home use but couldn't justify the cost of big brands. I read a review from an operator claiming to use them with Starrett mics and find them just as accurate. That's all I needed to know. I'm a casual user and I think this set will outlive me.

Good set. I wish I could understand that I need a 3-4 inch for my project as well. I could save a few bucks by buying a set of 4 instead of buying the 4th separately. These things work well and are easy to use. legible and accurate. I like the ratchet function so I can get it permanently sealed. Very helpful! When they arrived the kids and I spent some time measuring the thickness of many things around the house.

So when I needed 2" to 3" micrometers I naturally wanted to use Starrett tools but the cost difference between them and Anytime tools let me me hesitating. , a retiree and carpentry hobbyist to spend that extra money so I'm betting on buying Anytime Tools products. They arrived the other…
