This speaker mic is much better quality than Baofeng mics but again it costs a few bucks more, that's the quality for you. Feels and looks like high quality materials but only time will tell for sure how well it will hold up. So far, so good

Buy the AnyTone AT-D878UV PLUS. "Original" accessories wanted. Fit and finish are excellent. The (twisted) microphone cable is long enough and flexible enough. The sound sounds great, with no distortion even at high volume (seems to be an AnyTone trademark).

This speaker mic works as it was intended. The small speaker produces a sound quality that lacks the fundamental frequencies heard from the radio itself. However, there are times when this gadget is perfect. It is well made and good value for money. I would buy it again.

This is a very good speaker mic. The sound quality of the speaker is excellent, as is the microphone. It has a nice long twisted cord. There's also a speaker or headphone jack so you can listen in private. I am satisfied with the quality and features of this product.

I have a speaker/microphone and this mic is going LOUD! The sound communicates everything positively. This speaker/microphone is good value for money and is perfect for my AT-D878UV II PLUS. I highly recommend this product. Facilitates transfers, is lightweight but durable. Would buy it again with great pleasure.

I use this mic several times a week on the AnyTone 878 HT when hiking in fairly remote woods where I often don't see anyone for two to three hours. 5 hour hike. For a "non-brand" this is good quality and I get reports of good sound quality from the operators I speak to. Good value for money.

Bought external speaker microphone for my Anytone AT-D868 portable radio. The microphone and PTT button work well, but the sound from the speaker is almost inaudible even with the radio volume turned all the way up. I've tried several times to reconnect to the radio but to no avail. The remote speaker volume is too low to be of practical use. Wound not to buy again.

This was a budget mic with the correct pinout for my Anytone 878UV Plus radio. The sound isn't great, but it's okay, and if you want, there's a port under the rubber stopper to plug in headphones.
