Works best with solar panels

Two soldered together with a diode to prevent reverse current and connected to two rechargeable AA batteries - works great as a constant 3v power supply

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Operating speed

Good price, good design and more power than advertised.

These compact panels offer more performance than expected. I use them for some small homemade solar lights that are powered by a single AAA NiMH battery (1.25 volts) and they fully charge them in just a few hours. They are well made and have handy solder terminals for connecting cables. Great products.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Some little things

Worked well in solar and wind energy

I was nervous because they are powering a couple of projects I am working on for children as I am uncomfortable connecting the solar panel and then finding out how it goes . to make it work efficiently. Although the requirements were close to the declared delivery, they only worked properly under lamplight. Don't forget that you have to solder the connections! They don't come with wires!

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • There are problems

Great amps.

So it's not 120 mA per solar module. Haven't tried it in hot sun, but in good sun it was 30mA at best. Maybe it will in the summer and I'll adjust my rating accordingly, but it easily scores 3v+. I put them in parallel and was able to get 400mA if I remember correctly. However, I had hoped for a better amperage. It's all about the intensity of the sun, which is around 50,000 lumens on a good day.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • unreliable
