Highway Robbery - Intake Manifold and Parts

This would have been a great product to include in the original wireless flow meter packaging but instead they decided to give us gaskets that would not work and sold the good ones separately hefty price.

Pros
  • Trial for one year
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Bought for a van propane tank

We bought these spacers to mount a bluetooth propane tank monitor to the bottom of our tank. Needs a little more clearance below. They worked as advertised but you have to remember to take them off when changing tanks.

Pros
  • Great design

Cheaper than Halo

Used these for my tank monitoring system, not Halos. Cheaper and work the same. There is just enough space for the Mopeka magnetic sensors to fit under the tank. A hammer is required for installation on the tank. NO slip/slip fit. It will take strength to fully plant them.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Has quirks

Notch feeling in engine parts

I love their tank monitor. I hate the cost of these replacement frames. This is a simple component that should cost literally a penny to make and shouldn't sell for more than a dollar or two a unit; Charging almost six dollars a person is mugging. I wouldn't have a problem paying $4-8 for four feet, but I make my own for $25.

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • I am silent

Functional, better than old gummies, BUT!

functional, a clear improvement compared to the original gummies but probably not the best idea for its purpose. They are a relatively tight fit to the bottom of the tank, although I glued them on and still suspect they will come loose when I remove my tanks from the fully enclosed space on the fifth wheel. The shroud on my fifth wheel leaves very little wiggle room to get the tanks off the base so expect to have to put them back on, only time will tell!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

hard to hold on when changing tank and questionable durability

Apparently Mopeka made these aluminum spacers after the rubber spacers crumbled. Well I don't think they are much better. If you don't squeeze them hard enough, they fall off pretty easily. If you press on them too hard, they will break. It's so hard to keep going. And I arrested a few. So now I have a spare set. And they are also ridiculously overpriced for what you get. I can't recommend them, but I don't know what else to use unless I make my own out of a different material.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • not sure

Absolutely terrible! waste of money!

Terrible product. Will not fit the underside of the propane tank rim. Once installed they will spread so far apart that if you stand the tank upright they will fall off. Terrible decision. Don't these people even test their inventions before they put them on the market? I ended up taking an 8" square of 1/2" Plexiglas, cut a large hole in it, big enough to make room for the Mopeka device, and placed it in my propane gas bowl. It works great, doesn't need to be removed when I remove my propane…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Big and bulky

No better than the rubbers that came with my gas sensors.

They are aluminum and easily broken or lost. So if you remove the tank to fill it, there's a good chance they'll fall off or break. One of mine broke while dressing and the other must be lost to stay. They are likely to break if you lower the tank quickly and put a lot of force on them. They should have been spring steel, not aluminum! I don't recommend them, but if you insist on installing them, install them to match the holes in the tank ring and be careful when moving the tanks. I recommend…
