I have read the fine print on the extended warranty that I bought with my TV. The extended warranty _requires_ that I use a surge protector, so it's good real insurance to cover the extended warranty. I like how it can be mounted on the wall. This will delete the installation.

My builder installed individual recessed outlets for wall mount TVs in my house which prevented the soundbar from plugging into a wall mount TV. It works great, offers surge protection, fits in a recessed outlet and is thin enough to fit next to a TV mount. Glad I stumbled across this product! Works perfectly!

Our flat screen LCD TV in the master bedroom showed a black screen for 20 seconds every time we turned the master bathroom exhaust fan on or off. This would also happen if we changed the speed of our ceiling fan. We tried the surge protector and no luck. We tried this device and it solved the problem. Bought to solve an issue where my USB was too loud for the DAC and amp. Depending on your situation where the noise is coming from, either the dirty noise is coming from inside the house or the noise could be coming from your power supply. I think it was a lot more efficient than buying a USB device or USB flash drive to ground and clean up noise for cleaner sound.

The device is made with impressive quality. The power cord is VERY good. However, the device did not meet my requirements. This may work for different applications but mine didn't work.
