APDTY 112542 Throttle 4 Cylinder 2007 2014 Review

I HAVE NO PREVIOUS MECHANICAL SKILL and was able to change it myself just by watching a YouTube video. The photos above show the new throttle body and the old one after I replaced it. Mine came with a gasket but I've heard some of them don't so I'd buy a gasket just in case and if yours comes with a gasket just return the extra one.

Worked well (I've driven 150 miles so far) on my 2014 Jeep Patriot 2.4L and pretty easy to replace. Good thing it comes with a gasket (also easy to replace). Cannot give 0 stars. This part was advertised as "NEW" along with a second part from the same seller; However, they were in USE. Both valves were supplied sandblasted and cleaned prior to shipment. Both valves were dented as shown in the photo. One of the valves had severe corrosion in the airflow through the throttle body, which can also be seen in the photos. The product worked great to put out my TCS and etcs lights on my Chrysler 200. Before installing the throttle body my car went into limp mode and wouldn't rev over 2000rpm. Installation was pretty easy but the throttle body didn't come with a gasket as some said. I found one at a local parts store for under two dollars and the part number was #61480. Bought this throttle body assembly for my 2008 Jeep Patriot 2.4L engine. I had an issue where all the dashboard lights came on and I wouldn't let the engine rev to around 2500 rpm. However, it was sporadic which meant I could turn the ignition off and it worked fine. Then it will happen again a little later. It got worse.
