After about 10 days the filter broke resulting in an almost total loss of water supply. I spent $80 on this product. I knew how, I would have asked for a full refund of my money.

Installs like any other canister filter throughout your home filtration system. If you want to get rid of that bad sulfur smell from your home's plumbing, this works great. The only thing I can estimate is how long it takes.

So far so good. This filter is now about a month old and I have never been happier with my water. I also have a sediment filter and would definitely recommend using both together. I'll see how long this lasts and will update my review with this information when the time is right.

With sulphates in well water this didn't help at all. It may not be the right product for this. We finally solved that. Whitening shock and new plasticizer were the solution. This review is mainly intended to show the inside of the device. It's crowded and heavy so I think it gets 3 idle starts.

This worked for about 30 days before the water turned color again. At first it was clear, then a month later it became clear that the water was no longer clear. So expensive that I figured I'd take a chance like everyone else and see what happens. Our city water contains a lot of iron. Unfortunately, the grade didn't make it.

Blue filter plug completely blocks flow. The plug could not be removed because it contains particulate filter media. It was either assembled incorrectly or poorly designed. I sent the filter back. It's a shame to pay so much for a poorly designed water filter. There is no instruction or description how the filter works, which is unsatisfactory for a premium filter.

We had the typical strong odor of sulphides from our New Hampshire well. Decided to try this filter. I am currently using this on a system with two filters, first the 30 micron sediment and then this filter. I installed as above and drained the water heater (which smelled really bad). The whole story - We spent months researching the water systems! We have a well and water; Iron (orange spots), manganese (gray and black spots and spots), and smelly hydrogen sulfide (rotten egg smell). Emphasize!
