💧 APEC Water Systems ESX2 Replacement Filter Set Review

They are the same as the originals and the size is perfect. The first time they leaked after installation, it was because I didn't tighten them enough. After re-tightening, there was no more leakage.

A little difficult for a 6ft 5 man to get under the sink but pretty easy to install. We walk 10 miles every day so they drink a lot of water in this house. Filling returnable bottles for walking

We change the first 3 levels every year, but we're able to reduce this to 6 months because the water in Nassau County is so muddy. In the first phase, my hands smelled like pennies all day. What more can I say, we enjoy clean drinking water.

Nothing to say about the filters, looks like the filter that came with the original unit. Works well. One thing to note, I may not have noticed it in the instructions but remember to place the APEC unit in the container when opening the filters as there is still water in these filter housings.

Excellent filters at a good price. I had over 200ppm in my tap water and after installing these filters I got around 11ppm. There is a big difference in the taste of water and people who come up and take a glass of water notice it immediately. I'm drinking a lot more water now and the health benefits alone are worth the money.

Obviously this filter is lighter than the original APEC filter, made in USA, the price is half the price, otherwise I can't say anything difference, recommend I urge them to compare these companies and list the differences so we can clearly decide what we want. Someone strives for a better product, someone for a good price, right?

Overall the filters seem good. I am very happy with my reverse osmosis device. I noticed that the unit backwashed almost constantly and realized it needed new filters. I have approximated the service life of the original filters to 8 months. I was amazed how black the original filters were when I replaced them with new ones. I've attached a photo of one of the old ones next to one of the new ones. The first and second stage filters were all black with iron.
