Very good power supply

After my expensive high quality power supply failed I just don't want to pay that much again. So I choose this one and read all the bad one star reviews. Spring. I was worried. After it actually arrived and installed I couldn't believe it. in fact it is "better" than the previous high-end expensive color power supply! Trust me it's REALLY GOOD.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Explodes in 2 minutes

I figured I could get by with one of these for a basic small mining farm that only draws 300 watts. It exploded with a big bang after 2 minutes of operation and the smell of burnt plastic filled the room. Listen to other reviews. Buy a real power supply for another $10. For me there is no more Apevia.

Pros
  • Good for many
Cons
  • Weak set

Good price, but be careful

Very high quality power supply for its price range. A few things I have to say about this power supply are: 1. There is no 6 pin or 8 pin connector. If you are building a PC and hoping to install a GPU (graphics card), please note that the GPU you are installing does not require a 6-pin or 8-pin power connector and must be powered directly from the motherboard. The power supply itself looks like it's only meant to power the motherboard, not other add-ons that require a 6 or 8 pin connector…

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Expensive

Worked well until the fan in it stopped working after a week

The fan in the PSU stopped working almost immediately. Luckily I had a fan to replace it with. Has been replaced with a better fan. And that's how it works well. Cables are very cheap. After you install it and connect something, don't think about using it on another computer by moving the cables, you're nervous about the cables breaking.

Pros
  • Easy-to-read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors appeared

Works well for internal power supplies

I had a power supply failure on an older but still usable PC. I didn't want to spend a lot of money so I figured this power supply would fill the bill and it did. The PC boots up immediately and works perfectly.

Pros
  • That's good
Cons
  • Keep calm

I love this PSU

The perfect upgrade for my sleeping gaming PC. Very quiet and enough power for my GT 1030 GPU, which draws power from the board rather than the extra power my GPU needs. However if you have a GPU with a side connector for extra power then this power supply will not suffice as the 8 or 6 pin connector just splits into groups of 2 making 2x 4 pin connectors and on my computer that Motherboard requires in addition to the 24-pin 4 directly on the board for power supply. . So the motherboard…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons

Make it so good I wish it had a case fan header.

Wish it had a different 3/4 pin connector for a 5V case fan I had to buy a molex adapter for my build. Otherwise it worked great for what I used it for, a medium build rig.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Do not buy, boot loops

This is a poor product, please don't skimp on power supplies. This PSU was used for my office system, it started making strange noises and then only after that it entered the boot loop. Sometimes it didn't work at all. I replaced it with a more well known brand and it works great, don't buy it!

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Good product for internal power supplies

It was easy to install, works great at home at 8pm instead of the usual 4pm going to the motherboard but if you have 4pm for that need it you can just use 4P and only connect that part of the connector and it worked great and it has a 24 pin connector it also has 12v molex and sata connectors

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others
