Get Plantin 80+ not Bronze if you want it to last!

Easy to install, cords slightly shorter than other units I've used in the past with similar performance. The noise level was immediately apparent, and within two days of hooking it up to my machine (two RX570s in crossfire with a quad-core i7 and 8 gigabytes of RAM and an SSD) I heard a loud bang and my computer shut down. turn the device back on. I had a test film and it wouldn't turn back on. Sent back and looking for a reliable power supply. Look for 80+ Platinum, not Bronze!

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Compatibility

Broken! Computers & Accessories

I received my power adapter and much to my disappointment it didn't work! At first it worked sporadically when you move the wires properly, and then it wouldn't work at all. Maybe it's just bad solder somewhere, but I wouldn't fix it myself. Since I opened it much later than I received it, I was unable to return it to Amazon or get any help from the manufacturer. It's partly my fault for not checking that it was in good condition as soon as I received it, but I'm still disappointed that thereโ€ฆ

  • Worth the money

Works perfectly! good for computer components

I just wish it had a 24 pin test plug but luckily I had one - it's always nice to have, you know? Yes, listen, this non-modular power supply is all you need to build unless your motherboard requires 2 8-pin headers at the top. This thing comes with 4 PCIE slots, lots of SATA slots. I literally lost count. Great brand for the budget conscious buyer. I used it in my H510 case and it looks perfect. I didn't need it to be bright. I had multiple RGB fans and this was just what I needed.

Pros
  • great price
Cons
  • a bit torn

Very good power supply

Very durable power supply. I had that for two years. However, in early 2021 I actually had an issue that caused my computer to shut down. After checking with the manufacturer and trying to run some diagnostic tests, it turned out that the problem was that the socket on the device (where the power cord plugs in) was loose. I reported this to "Apevia"; and after Revain verified the purchase, model number and serial number, they quickly processed a replacement power supply which was shipped to meโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Brilliantly finished
Cons
  • Disappears

Standard 800W PSU. No budget cracker.

Computer randomly freezes for 5 minutes after booting, whether Windows or Linux. Knew it wasn't the OS/hard drives or the board. PS left. The predecessor bought an Apevia ATX-BT700W that lasted 3.5 years. This block has been replaced. If it's taking that long, it's time to replace the entire computer. It works out. How long will time tell. Didn't break the budget.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Vulgarity
