Technology always confuses me, but buying this converter to work from home was one of the best decisions. I received several monitors from the office and this converter helped me connect my MacBook. Worked great, no complaints.

Just what I need. I tried using cheaper adapters from other manufacturers, but they would intermittently not connect properly to my monitor. I finally decided to pay the premium and get a Mac adapter and it worked great. Sometimes you just have to pay more.

This device will not charge my MacBook Pro 2018 as advertised. I'm not sure if I received a defective device, but I'm sending it back.

This adapter worked fine most of the time. Sometimes my external monitor gets weird distortion and I have to unplug and plug the adapter back in to fix the problem. However, this does not happen often enough to cause severe pain. Overall I'm very glad I bought it to use the 27 inch screen with my Macbook at work.

My adapter works fine most of the time, but occasionally the adapter will power the laptop but not charge the battery. Accidentally the battery goes down to 0 even though I'm still plugged in. I can unplug the adapter and plug it back in and then it works, but it's a problem I don't notice that it won't charge and then I have to unplug it.
