is the third (and hopefully LAST) dongle I had to buy so my 2016 Macbook (with Touchbar) can share my screen with all the different apps in all the conference rooms at my work. I got that for the VGA port, the other two ports are completely unnecessary. Some meeting rooms come with a VGA cable that already has a VGA to Mini DisplayPort adapter attached. Then when I tried to connect my "usb-c to mdp" using these two daisy chain dongles it didn't work. Now I disabled "VGA to Mini Display Port" and plugged VGA directly into this dongle and it works! I needed over $200 worth of keys to get my new MacBook working in all the conference rooms with TVs at my work. Well done apple!
