Died on the 32nd day of service.

Put this in my aquaponics system to lift water from the sump to the beds and filtration systems. He died 2 days after the return window closed. A complete waste of money.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • I will write later

Sturdy construction: water pumps

Good solid construction. Robust became powerful. Distills water quickly. I use mine to refill tanks after water changes. Reduces runtime by more than half. Worth the money not to damage the rear lift scoops

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Does not fit all

very easy to use for aquarium pumps and filters

I have used this powerful pump to drain my portable hot tub so I can water the plants with it. Worked great. completely drained to 1/4 inch, simply wipe up any remaining water with a towel.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Not sure

Nowhere near 660 GPH

I literally put it in a full 5 gallon bucket and timed how long it took to empty it. It deflated at just over 1 GPM with a 3/4" hose, which translates to 60 GPM. He doesn't advertise anywhere near 660 GPH.

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • Damaged

Not as strong as it looks

Only flows strong enough for my 8" overflow with waterfall filter that pushes down to keep flow constant but great for a small, does the job very well although the water is clear and moving

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

Quiet and efficient; not too strong

Bought for a small outdoor water feature that uses a 1/2 inch pipe to raise the water only 12 inches. I thought the water flow would be much higher since the climb was so short. It only produces about 3-4 inches of outflow at full power. It's ok, but not what I thought based on the specs. The lower intake is handy because I don't have to fill the tank as often. Would buy again.

Pros
  • perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • unfashionable

Won't start pumping in shallow water

Works great and pumps very quickly but the description says it pumps water up to 1/3 inch deep which is true if the pump was running when that water got so low . It will not pump from this level but must be almost completely submerged before it will start pumping. I need it to be able to move water from this level so it doesn't work for what I need it for. In traditional use (aquarium/deep water) it works well.

Pros
  • Sturdy design
Cons
  • Has imperfections

Great pump! for aquarium pumps and filters

Great pump that can do a lot! This pump can be used to speed up the water change, to remove water from the fish tank and fill the fish tank, for fountains and various aquarium applications. This is a powerful pump and a great design as it draws water from the bottom of the water tank instead of the side. It's hard to find a water pump that pumps from below so this was a great find for me. I will definitely recommend this item to my aquarium friends.

Pros
  • certified
Cons
  • poorly thought out

You get what you pay for.

The price was reasonable, but if you plan to use it for aquarium maintenance like I did, there are a few things you need to know. It clogs easily and stops pumping. You need to keep a close eye on it and avoid anything that can get sucked into the impeller. Jam town - what does it mean then, timely removal of the four screws (if plastic, how long before the protective cover tears off the screws?), and then removing the protective cover in the middle of your work, that will further aggravate the

  • Confident
