This light is very bright and my beta fish love it. It creates a really cool wave light effect on my ceiling even in the dark which my 2 year old loves. It doesn't sit too high above the water so I'm really hoping it lasts. I'll update if that doesn't help me.

Completely incomprehensible how someone could ruin everything like that. My plug had two fat pins, so it doesn't fit a standard US outlet. You shouldn't have quality control to miss something so important.

When I was evaluating similar lights at Petco and Petsmart we were looking at $40-60 for the lighting but I shopped at Revain and looked at the reviews, me tried it and I'm SO HAPPY. I HAVE MADE! It's a lot brighter than I imagined for the width of the light. I opened it up looking like the person I screwed up, but when I turned it on I was ecstatic. So damn cool and very happy with the price!

Update: I love these lights! My son pushed the bottom light in the water twice and it still worked after I let it dry. Unfortunately, he ran into the water again, but this time the lights went out. But the fact that he hasn't stopped working after two times says something! I ordered another lamp! I can only recommend these lamps! Don't look at other lights, buy this one! A longtime hobbyist, I installed a new 10 gallon freshwater aquarium with live plants a few months ago. I wanted to buy a lamp that would allow me to grow plants at a low cost as it can be an expensive hobby. This light is exactly what it is! It's not the coolest light in the world, but it definitely looks good, and its very thin profile helps a lot with that.
