Makes it easy to change a 10 gallon tank, for about 6 months this thing worked great on weekly water changes. However, this month my bucket is taking twice as long to fill and the substrate isn't cleaning as well as it used to. I recently got a big turnout and will be opting for an automatic pump; But for my 10G I will keep going with it and definitely buy a new one if it breaks.

I can clean the entire bottom of a 10 gallon open bottom tank with this and it typically uses 30% of the water (sometimes 50% if the bottom needs extra cleaning). I like the design of the hose because you can easily pinch the hose without bending it to slow water suction when moving past already clean areas. I recently bought a betta fish and after a few weeks the tank was pretty dirty even though I had a filter and did 25% weekly water changes. Also, my fish didn't like chicken feed pellets, so it all sank to the bottom and started to appear fluffy in it. I cleaned the tank so quickly with this tool!
