Works great with no problems. It can snap on the edge of the tank and never fall off. But moving the silver part is a little bit hard, but still not hard, just a little bit. You also need to buy the right bulbs for this, these are E27 bulbs. Our tortoise loves it and spends a lot of time basking under it.

I loved this product until 4 months later and this morning it almost caught fire. Luckily I got to him in time before he could do any serious damage or even kill my little turtles. It's a shame, don't think I'll buy this again unless the company can get it right :(

While this is a great price, the heating element itself (where the bulb is screwed in, as well as the neck) gets very hot when combined with a 75 watt ceramic lamp. I would recommend anyone using this for reptiles to use the thermostat with caution as well. My ball python's body seems to keep the heat away from the CHE, so that's a good thing. The neck is very strong. I hope this lasts for a while.

Very happy with the quality and price of this flashlight. I was also able to get a pack of 6 bulbs for a relatively low price, just make sure they will fit before you buy (I have, but I'm not sure some don't fit that often). The clamp is VERY tight and the curved neck has a lot of movement. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't fit my tank exactly like I want, but that's due to the tank and cap I have. The purchase is definitely worth it.
