do not disturb

Used filter for the life of a filter. After I replaced the filter, the unit would not stop leaking. Purchased Square Trade warranty protection from Amazon. That was my second mistake. It was also reported there that the device is not under warranty, that it is still covered by Aquasana. Attempting to contact Aquasana to exchange the device again brought out a police officer. Cut my losses and just throw the damn thing away. All this after four short months. I suggest you spend a little more for

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Works great but filters are expensive

I've had my Aquasana table top filter for 1 year 5 months and it hasn't worked for a month. I have two new filter sets, or about $102 is on my counter with the unit, another $68. Aquasana refuses to reply to my emails about a faulty system. I bought it in October 2016, so it's 1 year and 5 months old. I am very dissatisfied with such a short filter life. It worked great but the filters are expensive and have to be changed every 5-6 months for $50. My sister has a Berkey filter that is 6-8 years

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • New competitors

WHY ARE THE LOWER FILTERS SO DIFFICULT TO REMOVE AND REPLACE?!?! could not unscrew the filters from below. It was so hard that I ended up breaking the finger plate on one of the filters. I decided to buy a new one and found that I can't even take out the filters on the NEW unit that came! Filters at the bottom of these devices. Even with gloves on, my fingers hurt trying to rotate these filters. Absolutely insane. Wouldn't recommend it.

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for support and durability
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

This filter does a great job as long as you change filters.

This filter works great if you change the filter regularly. I can warmly recommend aquasana for life (automatic filter release). I've used other filters that are literally triple the price and I've gotten all sorts of contaminants they're supposed to filter. This is a very easy to maintain filter. I've had mine for over 5 years. Wear and tear occurs where you insert the AB filter bags. Once it starts leaking at that point you might as well buy a new one as there is no kit available to replace…

Be sure to buy a water meter to test!

I bought this based on the certificates I received. I wanted a water machine that wouldn't take 20 minutes to fill a glass, or worse, a water container. I also bought a water meter. Glad I bought a counter! Installing the faucet was easy. I flushed the system for 10 minutes as instructed and then tested my water, it showed 74ppm. Flush another 10 minutes, check again, showed 76 ppm. Flush an additional 10 minutes, read at 77 ppm. During the flush, I checked the water from the sink, which also…

Great tasting water. Easy installation.

This aquasana water filter is excellent. Tastes much better than pure water filters. Comes with brass adapters, suitable for different types of kitchen faucets. Installation was very easy as the hose ends are color coded. Blue to blue and white to white. No guesswork, unlike the previous version where both ends were white. Now another important care tip. From time to time, dirt particles begin to clog the screens through which filtered water exits. To fix it, just unscrew this small piece and…

Pros
  • Water filtration and softening
Cons
  • Only available in black

A little slow to dose. Any

(updated 5/10/19) It's time to replace the filters on this countertop. But I have to say: I get emails from this company almost every week. since my original purchase about a year ago. "Half off" or "Oh, we accidentally sent you a huge discount, but we'll still consider it" or "We've extended our discount for another day" etc. etc. If you order directly from this website, these are a few bucks more than via Revain. I originally paid $64.71 through Revain. If I follow the half discount spam…
