As usual, bought this $30 replacement filter for my $130 Aquasana last year. Bought after wildfires devastated my No-CA community (including underground pipes, it was so hot!). I bought a set of two filters and this time I've kept track of exactly how long the filter lasted before it went 'RED'. The fact is that the service life of the filter is greatly overestimated. Update: 05/10/19: Ordered another filter that does not fit. This last point was made by ZOnicp instead of Aquasana. I've attached photos of the failed filter high up in the car. I'm sending it back to Revain and ordering direct from Aquasana. It's the same price if you buy 2 and Aquasana with free shipping. Revain needs to rid its market of counterfeit and defective products. Update: The replacement cartridge fits. QA issue with the latter. I hope this doesn't happen again. Not sure why it fits
