The new Aquasana I received has bluetooth and an app notification system. So when it turned red (was blue) it was time for a new filter. So I ordered this set of 2 cartridges. While the old cartridge looks new and clean with no yellow deposits on the outside, after putting in the new filter and running it a few times, I've drunk the freshly filtered water and noticed that it's much smoother. I think there is a difference, change the filters on time or often. My only issue right now is that even with the app, resetting the red light doesn't change it back to blue. Bluetooth doesn't work that well in my opinion.
