Works well. The ammonia level was still high after two doses and was actually turning the water yellowish. Did 50% water changes twice to get rid of the yellow color and get rid of the ammonia surge. Generally a good concept, but it didn't produce any results.

My pet overfed my aquarium which ruined everything including the ammonia levels. Everything else is fixed except for the ammonia levels. The fish is alive, so I'm assuming it's working, but I'm still getting high ammonia levels, even after the first deep clean, frequent water changes, and two filter changes.

Bottle and cap are leaking. Ultimately, the product does what it is supposed to. Helps neutralize ammonia but does not remove it. Water changes and regular maintenance are still essential. Also, it takes very little time to dissolve in the water column. Don't expect instantaneous changes in ammonia levels. For best results, use the API Water Quality Test Kit.

Have been using this product for 3 years now. Very happy with the product but just got a new bottle in the mail, it was in a sealed plastic bag with a sticker showing it doesn't leak, the opened bag was full of product that leaked out of the bottle. There were 5 pieces of tape on the bottle because the seal was broken under the cap. So instead of putting another bottle in the bag, they went to great lengths to try to reseal the broken seal. Thanks, now less than half a bottle left.

Good product for the price. My aquarium had high levels of ammonia and my cherry shrimp were slowly dying. I have decided to buy this product. After about 4 applications, the ammonia level dropped significantly. This seemed to keep my cherry shrimp from dying and they can live happily ever after! I also did 10% water changes weekly while using the product to speed up the drop in ammonia levels. 4 stars because it gave an odd color to the water in my tank.
