Description of 🧊 ArctiClean Kit 1 & 2 + Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound + Microfiber Cloth & Tool (Value Pack)

Two-step cleaning process for removing thermal grease and prepare surface for new application , Consists of two 30ml bottles - one for removing old material, one for purifying the surface. Developed by Arctic Silver, one of the world experts in thermal compounds and heat transfer , Easy-to-apply bottles make the cleaning process easier than competing products. Arctic Silver 5 contains over 88% thermally conductive filler by weight. In addition to micronized silver, Arctic Silver 5 also contains sub-micron zinc oxide, aluminum oxide and boron nitride particles. Coverage Area: A 3.5 gram syringe contains enough compound to cover at least 15 to 25 small CPU cores, or 6 to 10 large CPU cores, or 2 to 5 heat plates. At a layer 0.003" thick, the 3.5 gram syringe will cover approximately 16 square inches. 3 to 12 degrees centigrade lower CPU full load core temperatures than standard thermal compounds or thermal pads when measured with a calibrated thermal diode imbedded in the CPU core.

No more random power outages and annoying fan shutdowns

My ThinkPad x230 laptop turns itself off after a few minutes. After some research I found out that the problem was with the thermal paste. By disassembling your laptop and applying a small amount to the CPU and GPU, the laptop will work like new again. Update: Two weeks later I also used it on my ThinkPad x230T which had a higher temperature and the fan was always on. After applying the paste, the temperature dropped at least 15 degrees, not 15 degrees. You need quite a lot. A whole tube will…

Good all in one repair kit for computers with thermal contacts

I needed to replace a fan in a laptop. This was my first laptop repair (but not my first computer repair) and I found the cleaner and thermal paste easy to use. The dropper bottles made it easy to apply just a drop of the solution to a small area that needed cleaning, and the thermal paste syringe applicator was also very easy to use (when I realized the cap just popped off at the end). Definitely recommend to anyone working with a heatsink or heatsink and fan combo.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Obsolete model

Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Outperformed

At first there was no indication on the packaging. I had to look them up on the internet. Second, I had serious heat issues the first day after applying it. 90 degrees under load for my new Ryzen 9 5900x, lots of crashes and weird bugs. According to their documentation, Arctic Silver 5 takes some time to "settle down," which could explain why temperatures were so high. The temperature under load was better the next day, 70 degrees, which is confirmed. (Yes, I first "touched up" the finish of…

I have used several thermal paste

I work with computers by trade and I will tell you what I think of this thermal paste. If I had chronic problems with CPU temperatures on a client server I would use this paste regularly and it has always at least helped. If I replace the stock dry paste on older graphics cards in my private hobby or upgrade the cooler of a CPU, graphics card or chipset, I always have not only good thermal results, but also better overclocking. And stability as tests when these components were new with factory…

Does exactly what I needed

I still needed a bit of cleaning and cleaning so I decided to replace the thermal paste. Just used the equivalent of about 2-3 grains of rice (dry), had to redo when I saw how clogged (dirty) the cooler was, all cleaned up easily. I don't know how much cooler was clogged and how much thermal paste was, but after testing my desktop went from 75*-90* to 45*-60* in games and some performance tests to make sure all is still good. Very happy with this product, it worked without any problems (first…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • No Car

I really like this product. But I'm a little hesitant to give it the "Excellent" rating I could possibly give to a product in a combination of thermal grease and cleaner. When I first tried to push the "injection" "needle" into the processor, it did not come out, and then, in short, everything came out at once, and that's just for the applicator. I didn't have to use cleaner bottles (in short both bottles are cleaner bottles) so I can't comment on them. Despite all that, it worked perfectly and

Great thermal paste with bonus tool.

Before ordering this paste I did some serious research and compared it to AS5, Diamond 7, Diamond 24, GC Extreme and a few others whose names I can't remember. This past proved better than AS5 and swapped places with Diamond 7 depending on the situation and was within 1c or less when tested worse than Diamond 7. It wasn't as good as Diamond 24 or GC Extreme, but they were way more expensive than the MX-4. And in terms of weight, MX-4 was cheaper than all the pastes mentioned. Yes I know you can
