My child cannot zip up by himself because the zip keeps failing and getting stuck in the fabric. I tried ironing the fabric but it still didn't work. It has only been worn a few times as it requires help to pull it out when wearing it. The teachers at the school asked if I could send him another coat as it is terribly difficult to close. I've always had trouble finding something this bright, they usually offer blue/grey/black colors for boys so I appreciated that choice. The Arctix Cyclops Padded Jacket for boys is a high-quality winter coat. My 6 year old wears a size 8 and I'm a size medium, it fits a plus size but is perfect for him in the winter with a few layers underneath. I've added a photo with a size chart above. This is a good coat that works very well for my 10 year old. The bottom of the coat is a bit tight but the length is good, the zip is strong, the hood covers the head/face well and seems to keep rain/moisture out. Very high quality winter coat. My son feels very comfortable and warm in it. It rides in the snow and that keeps it completely dry. He had clasps to keep snow out of his coat. High quality zip and zip pockets. Big warm hood. He loves the color combination. I feel great sending him to play in this coat.

I think this is the 5th jacket from this brand and 3rd in this style that we bought when my 2 boys were growing up. They're also durable and will keep you warm during the northern Minnesota winters. Best of all, they're durable and can be passed on, gifted, or sold even when my outdoor hooligans have outgrown them.

My son loved this jacket. It's such a fun color and it's very comfortable and lightweight. I like that it's also water repellent because it saves me from having to buy a separate raincoat.

As per other reviews, the zipper on this coat sucks. Everyone catches him. lonely. Time. Now the hole is me trying to pry the fabric out of the zipper teeth. Warm? Yes. Nice coat? Yes. Functional? No.

Excellent jacket. Nice, warm, fits perfectly. However, I have a problem: when the zipper is pulled all the way up, it can get caught on the bottom fabric. It's easy for another person to unzip it when that happens, but my son can't. These are small things for us and I would recommend this jacket.

We bought this jacket 2 months ago. The jacket is good and fashionable, the only problem is that in these 2 months the seams have come undone. I tried to send it back to Revane but the return period is overdue so apparently we have to bear the loss for the jacket. As it turned out, it was impossible to contact the seller. I love the look of this coat and it's well made, but I wanted a coat with more warmth. I bought this for my 7 year old to wear to school - we have cold, windy winters here and his school always has recess outside unless it's raining. So he needs a warm coat for cold days. This coat is more like a heavy windbreaker, not enough for the central Kansas winter. If you need a heavier jacket for spring this would be a good option, it's definitely not a warm heavy winter coat!
