Less than two months

The boots look great and are light weight. Ideal lightweight boots for long hours in moderate work environments. Unfortunately they are a bit wide. It's a regular size 12 and the lacing area almost touches. They still hang around the ankle. Update: didn't last two months. Bought June 8th and before July 25th it started to fall apart.

Good for starters, heavily worn.

At first I was very happy with this product. They are comfortable, warm, fit well and have become my favorite pair of jeans. HOWEVER, after about 60 days I see that one of the eyelets is starting to detach from the upper leather and will probably break off completely after a short time. I expected better quality, more durability in hiking shoes.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Perfect boots for the price

I did a little research before deciding on these boots. The price was what I wanted for a pair of hiking shoes, but I was concerned that the quality would be enough. Now I wear them all the time and can't get enough of them. The only complaint I can complain about is that the profile isn't as aggressive as I would like for real woodland hiking. Otherwise, they are perfect for any type of clothing.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities

Perfect Fit - Hiking & Trekking

I bought a couple of H2O models for my wife. After seeing how well they fit from the start I bought a pair. I called Ariat customer service for advice. I wanted to know if they are big or small. Ariat was very helpful. My boots fit perfectly straight away and I had no break-in period. All this plus water resistance. After a few months they are just as comfortable as before. Great company with great customer service making great boots.

Very happy with my purchase

Very happy with my purchase. The boots fit as they should. I have wide feet and EE which is not usually offered was perfect. They are very well made and look nice enough to run and walk in, not just for hiking or shoveling snow which they were designed for. I haven't tested their waterproofing yet, so will test them on the next snow which may be in a few days. Wore them for about 6 hours the first day and they were comfortable until the last 30 minutes or so. Being leather they fit my feet for…

My favorite hiking shoes

On my third pair. Beautifully made by Ariat, lightweight but very strong, premium materials and workmanship. I particularly like the no-cleat outsole which still offers good traction but doesn't clog with mud etc. I always take the waterproof model, it costs a little more but it's worth it. never get wet feet with it. Comfortable, powerful, beautiful. One minus: the last pair of laces are thinner and weaker than in previous versions; I hate when the laces fail long before the shoes are ready…

The most comfortable boot. Holds up well.

These are my favorite riding boots. I wear men's EE and this is the only place I can find my size. Terrains waterproof models really stand up to the daily wear and tear in the stable. Through mud and mud these boots last. The soles are thick enough that you don't feel every grain of gravel like you would in traditional thin-soled paddocks. The protector on the bottom is ideal for riding and hiking. They are comfortable all day long. There are also corresponding parts. I now have three pairs…

Not waterproof at all

I ordered a pair in anticipation of rainy weather. They arrived, they fit well and were comfortable. They felt broken right out of the box so I was very happy with them the first time I wore them. However, it was not a rainy day. The next day there was a light to moderate downpour and I put on my boots for work. After a short walk around town in light rain, the sole of my right boot came off the body of the boot and my right foot got wet. I was discouraged but liked the overall design and feel…

Best Boots I've Ever Had

I've worked in construction all my life and I wish I was in my 20's not 40's in these boots. I'm 61 now and I still wear them . One problem with proper work shoes is the outsole. If they grip enough to protect you, they'll also pick up a lot of the manure and dirt that inevitably gets left inside, whether it's at work, in your truck, or at home. These boots have great traction without the cleat clutter like any others I've had. They are easy to wash on the carpet. I'm on my fifth pair now…
