Great idea for an expanded speaker configuration. You can use any insert, I went for wire inserts with a 2 slot 12 port wall mount faceplate.

There are not many flush-mounted boxes where you can use the cover plate of your choice. This one does. This worked well for my surround sound wiring. Now the TV cabinet can stand close to the wall. Hooray.

Make life easier when decorating your media room with Arlington's low voltage flush mount bracket. I used this two piece bracket to mount a 7.2 system wall plate to route the cable from an in wall speaker. Don't over-tighten the screws, it's just plastic!

This product is of good quality and durable. I have multiple versions and sizes of the Arlington product that I use with my media console. The recessed design allows the connector to stay in the duct and manage the cables that wrap around the wall. This allows you to move the cabinets a little closer to the wall.

They are so well made. I took the time to tuck both sides of the box to get the perfect depth in the drywall around the unit. The 3 gangs are adjustable and I turned mine into 1 gang for 120V and 2 for HDMI and Ethernet. I had some left over at the central store and used it as a sleeve between the boxes to hide the wires behind the wall. These things are expensive but work so well. Made to last. If you need to move something close to the wall such as a wall B. furniture, flat screen TVs, etc., this will solve the problem of conflicts with crushing or knocking plugs and cords out of sockets, or even worse, destroying the socket. Ideal for subsequent electrical work or the replacement of existing sockets. Can be used with various decorative sockets. However, this is the only limitation. Cannot be used with conventional sockets as indicated by the square holes in the plate.

That pretty much satisfied my needs. Installation was pretty easy and looks pretty solid. There was a small issue where the screw holes on the cover that came with the device didn't line up with the holes used to attach the plate to the bracket. I probably would have chosen a different plate anyway then it wouldn't have been a problem but it would be nice if it was a choice and not a compulsion. In any case, it looks a bit sloppy on the part of the manufacturer.

Great Product! Like the 3 gangs I used for my TV, I used two of these for all my audio/video connections behind my home theater system. Lots of mounting options for new or old work, I could cut holes next to the studs so I could use the new hard mounts for the job.
