Provides smooth, full range flicker-free dimming for 12-volt LED Lighting such as LED strip lights, modules, light bars, puck and other LED lights. Compatible with BOTH 120 Volt AC dimmers and lighting controls and low-voltage DC dimmers and controls. Connect up to 100% of the rated 45-watt maximum load โ€“ derating performance is not required. No minimum power load; dimming works equally well whether powering a single 3-watt LED puck light or 45 watts of tape lighting, or a combination of both. For optimal AC dimming performance, use a forward phase CL-style or equivalent dimmer. The use of reverse phase or ELV may degrade dimming performance. Brightening up My Home and Kitchen!

After I put this lighting accessory to the test, I was more than impressed by its dimmable feature, which allowed me to adjust the brightness according to my mood. The product also came equipped with a screwdriver for easy installation. However, the packaging could have been more environmentally friendly. Overall, Armacost Lighting's product enhanced the ambiance of my home and kitchen, making it a must-have for any interior design enthusiast.

Works like a transformer; Doesn't work with dimmer

I replaced the halogen bulbs in my kitchen pendant light with LEDs and the old magnetic transformers didn't work properly with the new bulbs and my Lutron QS dimmer. So I replaced the old transformers (three of them, each feeding their own 40w bulb) with this new one with 3 bulbs connected in parallel (each rated at 6w). No dimming. The light is either on or off. I've tried different dimmers, different modes (Lutron Homeworks QS allows me to switch from LED rising edge control to magnetic lowโ€ฆ

Electrician Approved

One of the few LED drivers that can be dimmed according to the NEC to verify electrical performance. The supplied cable can be unscrewed and the driver sewn with Romex 14-2. The connectors are PCB terminal blocks at each end, so a jeweler's screwdriver was required. Be sure to hold the blocks while tightening the screws to prevent the blocks from loosening from the board. The device performs a smooth start and acceleration in 1 second. Also, there is no 3-second warm-up delay like cheapโ€ฆ
