Armarkat S6905 Premium Solid Wood 69-Inch Cat Tree Tower Review

I am very disappointed with the quality of this product - some parts are dented/broken. The replacement part I received was also splintered and damaged. I haven't assembled the turret yet, but I'm only giving it two stars because both the original and the spares were dented/contaminated by split wood. I have included photos to show the quality issues I experienced with this item.

The product was easy to assemble but the sticks are cardboard tubes and plastic despite the description saying 'solid wood' over and over again. I have returned this defective item. This shoddy construction cannot hold empty wooden boxes and would be an absolutely dangerous item for a cat. Very disappointed. I have to return this tree and all the accessories I bought for it.

That's great! I like that there isn't that awful carpet. Included was a small pillow for the top drawer. I have two chunky cats over 10lbs (who are very unhappy with diets at the moment) that despite best efforts have yet to destroy it. He's taller than me (I'm 5ft 3in) and strong. Also, my cats try to destroy the scratching posts and get angry when they don't move like our other scratching posts. That gives hope that it will last at least a little longer.

I like how it turned out, I do not regret the purchase, 5 stars for sure. To be honest I think I paid too much for what it is but it was my first choice and it fits well in the space I need it for. I decided to stain the woodwork before assembling it and while the stain I bought was of very disappointing quality I can say the raw wood of this cat condo does a fine job with the (better) stain. I think my two big cats will love it if they work up the courage to explore more!

Very easy to assemble, good quality wood and appears to be very durable. The price was great, the way to go is to take a raw wood scratching post and lay down the rug squares using the strong velcro that comes in rolls. $5 for carpet scraps, and instead of bothering with cleaning I just throw out the old pieces of carpet and replace them from time to time. I use it as a "ramp" for several cat shelves on the wall and above the bookshelf. Here Hazel, a 12kg female Maine Coon, is at the top.

Love it. Bought because the cat is too easily frightened to use as a climber on a tall closet. The other cats have shown him that it won't kill him and that it's safe, he loves the box. I like that I'm better at handling cat hair. In the future I will replace the scratching post covered carpet in the house with this one. It comes in other sizes. I've spent months looking for the best scratching post for the money. Carpeted platforms get dirty too quickly and cannot be repaired or cleaned. It's very difficult to find scratching posts without a carpet, otherwise they don't look like terrible cat furniture. This simple design is perfect for my tree climbing kitty and she loves it!
