Amazingly well built. housing aluminum; The shell is made of polycarbonate so you can see through it while still being strong enough to withstand 150psi of pressure. The bowl guard is made of nylon, which is far superior to most plastics. The filter retains particles down to 5 microns in size. Please note that the bowl capacity is only 1/2 ounce, but that's enough for a small compressor in most situations. I bought this to keep moisture out of the R37121-600-VS 1/4" regulator on my 30 gallon auto compressor. I use an airbrush compressor. This only runs the compressor a few times. per day but the unit is pressurized throughout the day. So I like components that hold pressure - air leaks are a problem.
