Description of ARP 2345501 Main Cap Stud

Main studs are designed to meet the exacting standards and demands of professional engine builders. Manufactured from 8740 chrome moly steel. Rated at 200,000 PSI, which is considerably stronger than Grade 8 hardware. Rolled J-form threads are 1000% stronger than other threads. Main studs are recommended over main bolts for a number of reasons, including more accurate torque readings and easier engine assembly.

Disappointing Results from Cap Stud

Based on my experience with this automotive part, I cannot recommend it for performance car use. While it boasts durability and strength, installation was a major headache and the results were lackluster .With other options available, I suggest looking elsewhere for engine parts..

Delivery time, not suitable for commercial use.

Works well, some soft materials feel like they are crossing when fitted and took too long to receive. My customer was upset that he didn't have enough time to return his car.
