Trouble in the box.: Computers and accessories

These devices are refurbished, whatever that means. To me that means they don't work more than half the time. Absolutely rubbish and optimum won't let you sell new units if you need their phone service. So, either you rent one of them for $10 a month, which adds up quickly, or you buy one for $70 or so, take your chances. I've passed 4 now and they lose signal every day. I have to turn it off, unscrew the very complicated and painful coaxial cable and press the reset button. EVERY DAY. I…

Compatible with optimal voice.

I bought this to eliminate Optimum's modem fee. So yes, it is compatible with Optimum. I have Optimum Voice so I needed a modem with a phone jack called a phone modem. That's it. Hardly any retailers sell them, so buy them either here or direct from Arris. I bought it new from DOCSIS Networks. They are ok but their customer service is not the best. They are not that helpful when it comes to tech support. Please note that the "A" version of the TM822 is not supported or guaranteed by Arris…

OPTIMUM charges an exorbitant $10 per month rent. Items arrived within 5 days of ordering via USPS. connected them with the help of OPTIMUM technical support. and works as fast as possible. there is no significant difference in internet speed with the arris tm1602 modems supplied by the company.
