Doesn't work in Stanley TRE300

The braces are fine but I bought them to use in my Stanley TRE300 and they don't work in it. They seem to fit well but don't shoot. Maybe they are too wide for my stapler.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

The glue that holds the staples together is very fragile.

The staples are the right size but the rows of staples break very easily when you try to get them out of the box. It's either bad design (saving glue) or bad quality control.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Low productivity

Will NOT work with Craftsman stapler 24477

I was hopeful at first because the staples seemed to fit the stapler and the spring guide ran over them but they were too wide to force up under a hammer. They will attack but not fire. I'm sure they are good staples otherwise, but again, they will NOT work with an old Craftsman 24477 stapler. Bite the bullet, go to Sears and get the real deal.

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Appearance

Finding them is getting harder and harder.

Neither blue nor orange shops have more big stacks; just the weak ones (1/4" crown?). If, like me, you have an old-school swinglnie gun, you need this. BTW, I once have a couple of 1/4" deep staples Bought them and they were practically useless for what I needed to do. I think they have their place, but I would never buy anything less than 1/2 inch deep again.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

On-site fetch error.

I received a fine USA made stapler that needed these type of staples. None of the local shops had them. Can't find it on Amazon for a long time. Found it recently, very happy with it. I don't use them very often, but they're really nice to have. I use it to stick posters and the like on the walls of my apartment. Nails don't work well in drywall, and drywall screws are a problem. Staples are fairly simple, easy to remove, and don't leave large holes.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Expensive

I've been to many places - Lowes-Ace Hardware etc

I've been to many places - Lowes - Ace Hardware etc to get staples for my "old" Swingline stapler the Find 800 series. Everywhere the answer was "no". Lowes said he would definitely fit. I bought them to find out they didn't fit. I took them back and got a refund. Thanks to the help of some of the answers from others on Revain I finally made this purchase. They arrived and fit in my Swingline 800 series stapler. Now I'm ready to staple the world back together.

Pros
  • Fasteners in Collection
Cons
  • So far so good

Warning - this is not the same as Arrow products previously marked

I have a 15 year old Craftsman stapler. It came with two packs of Arrow '608' wide braces that matched perfectly. After 15 years of occasional use, I've finally used up those two boxes. Was glad to find these suspenders at Revain with the same item number and a broad crown description. Staples came but don't fit! Now they are a bit narrower and don't fit in my stapler. Why use the same number for an item that is now made to different specifications?

Pros
  • Fasteners
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Not available locally, works in Swingline #800

Home Depot, ACE, none were 1/2 inch wide. Glad to find her on Revain. They work well in my trusty Swingline #800. The glue holding the staples together isn't as strong as other lots I've bought. If I'm not careful about everything, the bracket groups tend to break. Maybe it was just this party. I spent quite a bit on a few staples on a recent project, but still better than no staples at all and I certainly don't want to replace my high quality American stapler.

Pros
  • staples
Cons
  • Dear
