The original is best

There are millions of staplers out there. The original style is best: reliable, durable, light and shiny (temporarily)! My old construction stapler was taken out of service for a short time and repaired by self-repair (broadhead). I needed a stapler during a power outage and the Arrow Fastener T50 Heavy Duty Stapler filled the need perfectly. Due to a misunderstanding of how bracket numbers work I have to purchase T50 brackets separately - I can't use wide crown brackets (that's on me).

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Some mistakes

Never used heavy staplers

Bought this stapler for a specific project. It got stuck almost every time I tried to use it. I just attached the trellis railings to the 4 x 4 posts. Nothing special. When one staple just came out, the next was already crumpled and turned upside down. Sometimes up to three staples are stuck. This required a stop to clear the jam before I could attempt to sew another staple. I used Arrow T50 3/8" staples as recommended. Maybe it was just a defective machine. The original packaging didn't look…

MALFUNCTION! BEWARE! for stationery and school supplies

Today I tried this stapler for the first time - unfortunately a little more than a month has passed since receipt, so the possibility of a return is excluded. This one is defective. Gets stuck at about every 3rd or 4th bracket. And yes, I am using the correct size T-50 staples. So be careful. I used the same stapler for over 15 years with no problems until I lost one of the metal pins holding the job in place. Obviously, the new version doesn't have the same features and quality as the previous

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Without automatic

It took a week of light work before it broke. Poor Quality

I bought this because I couldn't find my other (older and better built) stapler. My neighbor comes and brings my eldest back to me and I put this folder aside. Then a month later (after the return date) I use it to hang some plastic on a thin tree. The driver was repeatedly clogged and then did not work at all (worked). Yes, I used arrow clips. I don't abuse my tools, but I'm frustrated that this one can't work with less than 200 staples threaded through; the last fifty had to be pulled out…

Staples don't fully insert - get a good hammer with them

I bought this item to replace my obsolete Black and Decker Powershot stapler. However, when I tried to reupholster the seats of my kitchen chairs with the Arrow, the staples didn't drive in all the way, instead leaving a gap of about 1/32 inch. I then removed the staples from the arrow and put them in. Powershot and used it to finish a job that fully inserted the staples. The weird thing is that pressing the stick on the Arrow requires more pressure than the Powershot, but the Powershot has…

  • This is amazing

The standard by which others are judged

I bought several hand staplers for the club. They are often used by multiple users. I've tried many different brands, but none of them compare to the Arrow's reliability and durability. Yes, it's heavy, but it's all steel. My original Arrow was purchased over 40 years ago. Works like new. In a club environment where most people don't care about instruments they don't own (or steal really good ones), the Arrow really shines. Staplers for aluminum frames also failed. The disadvantages are that…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

A scrap piece suitable for office and school supplies

Irregularly shaped metal substrate. The slider turned out to be rusty/corroded when opening the package. The chute doesn't accept braces (T50 braces, by a damn dart or some other brand). They grab it right away and encounter a lot of resistance because it looks like the slide wasn't put together properly. Basically - the whole foil - jam. I can push the staples in with a screwdriver when the slider is out, but it takes a few pounds of pressure to do this. I can almost certainly bend the side…

Pros
  • Durable test results
Cons
  • A newer model could have been chosen
