Perfect fit for packing tape

Anyone who says it holds up is right. I work with 140# Fabriano Artistico, always stretched. My first try pulled the paper tighter than the drum; This literally caused my gatorboard stretchers to bow in slightly, causing the paper to come off the board by about 1/4 inch. I've tried everything over the years, this is the first tape that absolutely sticks to paper. To protect the deckle edge, you need to soak the edges for a while until the glue softens. If you don't soak it, it will definitely…

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • old

This is not a pack of tape but a roll of very wide tape.

Works perfectly. But if I'm thinking of buying a PACK of watercolor ribbon, I don't expect 1 roll of ribbon to be twice as wide as I need. Yes, it was late at night. And I've been drinking. But a roll of tape is not a PACK of tape. It's a damn roll of duct tape. A roll is not a package. So check your PACK tape definition. I could get 3 rolls of tape for the price of one roll. I could have bought Damaller buns for $3 each and liked it better. BTW, I think I'll go back to using regular Lowe's…

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • No machine

Warning: It looks like superglue.

As far as I know, this tape was primarily intended for watercolor painting (meaning it should hold my paper in place and also be easy to remove). It's not like that at all. This stuff is EXTREMELY sticky/tacky and DOESN'T HOLD WELL. It will tear your paper and ruin your artwork. It even sticks to the wooden board I glued it to and literally WILL NOT come off - I've tried scraping it off with knives and re-wetting - it's essentially turned into cardboard superglue and won't come off. .I thought…

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • I don't remember
