If you're hoping to get something that smells a little like bourbon, look elsewhere. I was excited because I thought this could be a good new fragrance for men, especially since I love real bourbon! It smells like vanilla and any sugary lotion or body spray a woman would use! Terribly disappointed!

I have a hard time giving this beard oil a high rating even though it works exceptionally well. In terms of beard softening, this is the best beard oil I've tried. I have used most major beard care brands and have found The Art of Shaving Beard Oil to be the best for keeping my short beard soft and smooth. I bought a bottle of this from Target in December 2019 and it had important minerals and the smell was amazing! This new bottle doesn't have either, so it's disappointing!
