They are nice boards. So for that gave 4 stars. For brushwork I will definitely buy again.For fluid artists. The boards warp very quickly. I used gesso, letting it dry for months. I prepainted letting dry for weeks. No change in warping. They do warp exactly the same each time. perfectly curved. So can be interesting for ribbon pours etc.My boards flattened again overnight. Had to manually flatten 2. So if you like experimenting try it.

These boards are awesome! The frame on them is so deep and they're very sturdy. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the frame is much deeper than I anticipated, which is good! I will definitely order more in different sizes from this company when I run low. I purchased them for my crafting business and I just love them! Thank you!

Bought these to paint and apply vinyl designs for my toddler’s bedroom. Much cheaper than in store, and we’re in great condition to paint, very smooth.

great, depending on your use case. I love painting on them but the packages I've purchased thus far have some flaws in the surface that might cramp your style depending on how you used them. I put a couple coats of gesso on them to get a good texture for painting and they work well and it covers some of the flaws in the wood.

2 of the panels I bought were not useable straight out of the package because there was a line bump across the surface, so it wasn't completely smooth. But all the others were very, very smooth. No glue hanging out. I mixed together some fluid acrylic paint and a tiny bit of water. Brushed it on then wiped it off with a paper towel. Repeated until it was color I was looking for. This was the first time attempting to stain with acrylic paint and it worked really well! No fumes! The wood panels…

The depth of panel is NOT 3/4" and some of the panels are not 12" squares. Flaws in wood make them poor quality. Didn''t have an issue at all. Great quality, stain and paint worked great on these unfinished signs.

Great surface for painting, etc. Any surface irregularities are filled with wood filler. The overall effect is smooth, but keep in mind the grain is not necessarily immaculate (in case you are looking to keep the grain visible).

3 out of the 6 panels are not exact size. I printed 8x8 prints to put on these and some edges are barley too big, others are 1/8 inch off. Luckily my husband had the tools I could quickly trim them or I would have returned them.

Four out of five of the wood panels were good but the bad one was scratched and had excess glue on the panel making it useless unless I sand it or attempt to scrape the glue off.

These panels are ok, but plan on doing some sanding on them. The sides and top are not the baby butt smooth surface you get with other brands. For the price, I'll sand a little.

I have tried the more expensive birch panel art boards which are more expensive and see no difference. Will order again.

I bought these cradled wood panels to wood burn on. It definitely says "in-primed”, but when I burn it is like the wood is melting and leaves a build up on my tips that I have to sand off, which is not good.

One of the 4 panels appeared to have some sort of lacquer or something on it that made it have a 'shine' to it that the others did not have. This has caused the finished product to take the ink differently than the other panels, which was critical to my project because I'm using one image across 4 panels. This was the first time we tried the wood panels, and when two of the four arrived with the corners peeling, NOT worth the price. We had to hot glue them back.

The price was right on these panels. I use these as a backing/frame for my art prints. The surface is smooth, and the edges can be painted for a nice finish. They are perfect for directly painting on too.

Excellent for the craft mounting and framing I needed. VERY good quality. I plan to buy more and try other sizes. Real wood adds to the natural look I wanted. Great value.
