Observe the instructions! Here are some observations from my experience: 1) Chains enter the tube. Unroll and place in a warm room to relax. 2) Measure twice, cut once! I used a ruler and a circle cutter on a cutting mat. Very easy because the blade just rolls without much pressure. 3) Once the chain is on the soap window you can move it around to get the perfect fit. I love the end result! I stumbled across this product and immediately knew I wanted it for my bedroom. One window faces the street, the other faces the neighbors (super close). I can see right into their kitchen and they can see my bedroom on the second floor. I LOVE the light but I get tired of the blinds but I need privacy. This is the perfect compromise. Although I've always avoided projects like this because I ruined everything, I handled it like a pro. All who saw it were amazed. Since the
