I am 5ft 10" and the other one I bought is 6ft 3". We both wear L/XL with some room to manoeuvre. I bought 4 of these and am very satisfied. It's a medium weight robe, very plush/fluffy, soft, it comes to mid-ankle and up to his upper ankle, which is nice when you're cold and want to wrap yourself in something warm. Best Bathrobe I have ever bought! Only $50! I'm a 5'5" female and 130 pounds. I ordered a small/medium charcoal color (actually it's a dark chocolate color that I love so much). I ordered a 54" men's robe and didn't have the sleeves as tight as all my womens robes. I am very pleased with this robe. The sleeves are loose (when I hold my arm straight the bottom of the sleeve hangs down about 3" from my palm. My father is quite a tall guy. This is probably the only robe I bought in my 60's or even wore since childhood. I love this plush, soft, warm bathrobe and am looking forward to the end of summer so I can wear it. I read customer comments prior to purchasing and read that some customers said the robes were large so instead of a 2x size I bought an X-Large and it is more than roomy enough for my 220lb six foot tall and the robe itself comes to my ankles.
