The day I received them, I wore them around the house for about 15 minutes (that's all). By the next morning the sock had already stretched just enough to be comfortable. I've bought countless Asics in the past - at least 50 pairs. Thought I'd take a chance as they were heavily discounted. I currently have 2 pairs of the same style "GT-1000". ASICS is my favorite running shoe brand. My feet never get tired in them. I have weak ankles and these shoes are great for stabilizing them. If you complain that these shoes are not comfortable enough, the shoe inserts need to be replaced. That's half the comfort. I would recommend sof sole inserts (Arch or Athletic).
