If you don't mind the price, I think ASICS is a great overall running shoe. If you're looking for running shoes, do yourself a favor and grab some of the best in the business. I would compare them to Brooks running shoes. ASICS is about half a size smaller than my regular training shoes, I believe this is standard on all ASICS so I recommend at least half a size up (even for running shoes they should be larger than they are snug on your legs to allow for flexibility and Swelling).
