Great pickleball shoes

These shoes came in an Asics box and are a women's size 10. I've worn them about 5 times and played 3 hours straight. There was no break in the period. The fit and feel are great. Lateral support is great and I can stop and start easily. The soles do not stick to wooden or tile floors. They are also a great color combination! I highly recommend.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • No insurance

I bought these shoes based on online recommendations. I .

I bought these shoes on the internet based on a recommendation. At first I was a bit concerned because they are a snug fit, but it's really just a fit. So if you've been using wider or older training shoes, this can be confusing. I feel like I get the support and stability I need to do my cardio at home.

No Mizunos, but good shoes.

Bought for my daughter's volleyball season. Very soft shoes that take a bit of getting used to if you have never worn this brand. My daughter said she likes Mizuno better but they are a lot cheaper. She still wears them and says the more she wears them the better. They hold the place well and don't slip on the heel.

  • Looks good

Great for playing on court

I find it difficult to rate these for most people as I have a large bump on my right foot which makes any closed shoe uncomfortable. Also, due to very sensitive toes, I almost never wear closed-toe shoes - mostly sandals. Recommended for use on the court, these shoes are suitable for racquetball. I'm sure it will get easier with time. The shoe seems to adapt to each foot fairly quickly, so I expect full comfort soon.

  • Great selection
Cons
  • Sun-Sun

Good shoes but run small

I ordered a full size up which was good because even 9.5 was a bit tight. There's no way I could wear them with thick socks. They also appear a bit narrow; Too bad I didn't order them wide, although I never wear wide shoes. I use the ASICS Rocket 7 indoor pickleball shoes and they work well allowing me to move back and forth and side to side to hit the ball. They work much better than the ellipticals I've used. I think I would have liked them a lot better if they weren't so tight.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • unreliable

Too tight and not enough padding

I would return them but the return period is over even though I've only worn them 2 times to play pickleball on the indoor court. For my foot up they are very small. I felt my legs were tied too tightly even though my shoelaces were not tightened at all. The second time I put them on they left a bruise where they were too tight. When I first put them on, my feet only hurt at night and my feet never hurt. It took me a while to realize it was these shoes. I found the cushioning too light compared

  • Hard to tell

ASICS never disappoints!

I love these shoes. I've always had a fondness for ASICS (although my last shoe was the Mizuno Wave Hurricane or something) and they didn't disappoint. The soles are a bit stiff at first so I would definitely recommend breaking them in in training before going into a full tournament. As far as I can tell, ASICS sizing is the hardest part. I have 9.5 in most sneakers (like Nike), 9 in Chuck Taylors and 10 in Mizuno. I ordered 10 on the recommendation of other reviewers to order a half size and…

Pros
  • Quick change

  • Almost never
