Great for foot or ankle support!

My favorite details are the sides and the insole. I wear ankle braces to help with ankle inflammation and twisting. It's very difficult to find running shoes that allow you to do this without getting blisters or cutting off circulation. By simply removing the soles my feet fit perfectly without chafing and the sides allow the top of the shoe to expand where 90% of sneakers don't. I recommend this shoe for hikers or runners who need extra foot or ankle support.

NOT a great replacement for the Foundations line

Purchased to replace my discontinued Foundations line. An Asics spokesman said they are the most similar. The fit is basically the same, but the materials feel rougher than the base around my foot. The cable is not long enough. The real problem is that despite having the correct length and width fit, no matter how I tie the dress, the heel still slides off making it unwearable. I tried tying my shoelaces very tightly, it helped but it was also painful. Wouldn't buy again.

Very comfortable for athletes

I have very, very flat feet. Asics always fit well and are comfortable. At the end of the day, my feet hurt from other sneaker brands. I haven't had this problem with any of my Asics. I definitely recommend checking what type of arch support you need before purchasing. Different Asics offer different types of support. When some people say their feet hurt after wearing running shoes, they may not have used the support they needed. If you are looking for a shoe for overpronation then I would have

Great shoes for flat feet.

So far these have been excellent shoes. I really have flat feet. I also have a bump on my right leg. These shoes don't irritate my bursitis at all. As far as arch support goes, they are pretty solid. My legs feel very tight and supported. My arches hardly cramp. I will say they are a bit big and took about two weeks to break in. My legs ached and cramped for the first week, but I figured it was because my legs had to adjust to the brace. I just endured it and eventually it stopped. I really…
