Time will tell if it will hold up. After using the gasket, it was found that it was either crooked or bent. I can't use the DA grinder like I did with the stick on the pad. The sander seems to vibrate and won't let me sand flat without holding it at a slight angle. For the price I expected that.

I have used this pad very extensively in the month I have had it and I have absolutely no complaints. I used it to replace the original cleaning pad and taped it onto my old Rodac air sander and it worked flawlessly.

Very good product. I use it in combination with velcro polishing pads that I bought from Amazon: ZFE 6-Piece 6" Wafer Polishing Pad Set for Auto Polishers Detailed Polish Allows you to quickly attach and detach velcro fasteners to your rotary tool.

Fits perfectly on my 6" Harbor Freight DA Sander composite sander. I've put a clear coat sanding pad on it and it's holding up well so far. It's a velcro (velcro) strap so PSA sanding discs with it will not work.For now, only use it for wet sanding and PPE is not suitable for that.

I like this baseplate for its rigidity for flat surfaces. The only thing I have is that over time the edges cannibalize my pads because they don't give much, but it's not bad and worth the money. 6 months still valid, I use it wet and dry with no problems

Having worked as a professional van mechanic for many years, I am critical of such a product. A defective skid plate can seriously damage a very expensive camper. So far I think it's a good base plate. I use a Porter Cable 7424 at medium speed and this board works well for me. I will update if I see problems.
