Description of 💪 ASUS ROG Strix 1000W Gold PSU: Enhanced Cooling, Modular Cables, 10-Year Warranty

ROG heatsinks cover critical components. Lower temps result in a longer lifespan and reduced noise. Axial-tech fan design features a smaller fan hub that facilitates longer blades and a barrier ring that increases downward air pressure. Dual ball fan bearings can last up to twice as long as sleeve bearing designs. 0dB Technology lets you enjoy light gaming in relative silence. An 80 Plus Gold Certification is the result of Japanese capacitors and other premium components. Cosmetic customization is enabled by a magnetic logo and stickers that help you reskin the visible side to your liking. Fully modular cables keep your rig neat and tidy. 10-year warranty included.

The most beautiful power supply!

1200W might be overkill (especially for the RTX 3080/3090), but I felt the need to "protect" my PSU from future parts. While browsing I came across this power supply which is perfect for my ASUS custom PC. In general I am very happy with them. and zips so you can organize your cords - Cool sticker (if you even care, hahaha) - Useful OLED panel to show you how much power you're using. I've seen a lot of people worry about how many watts they're using or how many they need for RTX 3000 cards, but

Pros
  • Regular Price
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

This is a superstar! The product behaved well up to the point of instability after connecting to the mobo's 3-pin ARGB connector. It is no longer tied to the standard red accent and white numbers as the numbers are completely blacked out and look like blacked out numbers on a slot trying to scroll. The OLED screen also makes noises. Very disappointing. I finally got it working properly with no credit on me. Just a random bug that got in my way. But this whole assembly was paired with inferior…

Well designed, big disappointment with AURA Sync

I was very happy with this new power supply as my old one was defective. The OLED display on the front is very handy for monitoring power usage and just spices up the device. The 100% modular pin connection is very nice and helps keep the case nice and tidy. My Case is a self-made suitcase made entirely of wood and Plexiglas. As such, there are few ways to manage cables and that helped a lot! My only concern is that while it claims to be AURA compatible, it doesn't work with my ASUS STRIX…

"white edition " is a black power supply with black cables

I ordered a white power supply with white cables and they gave me a "white edition" power supply all black with sent black wires .If I return it and order another white one, I will have to spend an additional $100 for what I should have already received. I cannot exchange it for a white model. I can't even use white wires for this to work with my setup. ASUS' stupidity left me with a choice: spend more money on their products, buy expensive cables from another vendor, or have no power adapter…

Solid build quality

This thing is rock solid. Plus he's heavy as a rock lol. The fully modular design makes it easy to work with the cables you need and ignore the cables you don't need. The cables are braided and quite snug to the touch, making them comfortable to work with, although some of them are quite thick. It also comes with a small pouch to store any extra cords so you can toss them in a closet and forget about them. Interesting . cosmetic features that can be added, such as the magnetic ROG Strix logo…

  • Great selection

DOA-SquareTrade/Asus Runaround

I bought this product with SquareTrade Product Protection. I had to wait a month to get all my computer components to build from scratch as I really wanted to build something that would last a few years. I'm not a gamer who does overclocking and such, but I just wanted a decent photo editing device. When I finally started assembling my setup and plugging in the power supply, I found that upon arrival this product was not working and would not even boot. So I contacted SquareTrade to protect my…

It's upside down! on Internal Components

What they don't mention is that you have to install this power supply with the fan facing up in order for the display to be visible. In the case of the PSU case, it completely blocks the air intake. It's like this power supply was designed in 2009, before every case manufacturer on the planet started using basements to hide the power supply.

Pros
  • Nicely
Cons
  • There are problems

Such a quality power supply!

Right down to the packaging, ASUS makes this power supply feel like a luxury, like a valuable asset. I'm honored to buy lol. Anyway, apart from that this thing looks amazing, it's very easy to install, it's fully modular which is very nice! I'm used to my old budget CORSAIR CX 750W PSU, will never buy a Corsair again! The ASUS power supply and ASUS motherboard was a real revelation this year, now I know why the company is a multi-billion dollar company and deserves the title of Champions'…
