1440p is only available for the nvidia 600 series and the atitop line [that's wrong too, sorry]. MY gaming desktop with NVIDIA gets 1440p which is really nice. Games are fine on maximum settings. Bought this monitor in 2014. As of 2022, it has taken a back seat for a few years. Currently connected to Xbox S Series and PC. It is still used regularly. It has served me well and no problems.
