I am satisfied with the product, I recommend it to everyone.

A few words why Asus. In general, at first I wanted to buy a Creative Sound Blaster Z, and after a week of collecting information, I almost bought it. Asus was repelled by bad reviews, but among them there were really significant, well-reasoned ones, which made me at least open the reviews and look at it in detail. The creative has an old chip, I don't know from what age. Yes, in the 2022s, I still remember that they started this epic with cards, they held the market. But selling 15 years is…

Pros
  • I put the card in two computers on win 7 and win 10. Who doesn’t need a review, scroll through the penultimate paragraph to the comment. The sound quality has improved significantly compared to the Asus Xonar DX. I mainly listen to uncompressed formats through Sennheiser HD 380 Pro headphones or 2.1 speakers. I also connect to a regular amplifier from the 90s and listen to music at the cinema. I'm not a sound engineer, I didn't finish courses, in short, I'm not a scientist, but I will say that after the first inclusion of any song on this map, instruments that were not heard appear. As if the old card did not have enough power for these channels. Even our 2022 flac CDs of not very high quality played well. Pleases headphone jack, there are three modes. Very good! twists the sound in blu-ray movies in the original voice acting. Sound detailing is at a height even compared to DX, it plays juicier. In headphones in games, the sound also changes significantly, I absolutely say for sure. Fallout 4 especially noticed this (RDR2, Dirt Rally 2.0). I didn’t use the radar in the map, I never had CS 1.6 either. In games, movies, music, I do not use any enhancers. Flat preset. Shocking vocals. Cuts the ear only on bad digitization. I have no problems with sound stuttering, the sound does not disappear either in games or in videos. There is no "white noise" like DX. I took it because I don't need upgrades like in creative. 7.1 I also don't use it for the reason that most of the old films, digitizations are recorded in stereo (2-channel) sound. And the use of software sound spacing already introduces third-party distortion. My opinion, I do not promote, but simply explain that I do not need this and I did not try this feature on the map. It is also interesting that he compressed the sound into mp3 for a flash drive, listen to it in the car. And the sound appeared exactly the same, exactly the same instruments that had not been heard before. I didn't expect this. Apparently, it's time for me to rewrite old discs.

Best thing I have ever used, highly recommended!

Purchase cost me a little less than 7k. For the money, I think this card is a good purchase. Everything you need from her, she does well. I got pleasure from the sound quality of my music library. Now I plan to take more impressive headphones.

Pros
  • Good quality sound. I moved to this card from the built-in sound system and the difference was immediately noticeable. The sound became more detailed, the basses tightened up and became juicier. And in headphones and in acoustics 2.0, there is definitely progress. The volume margin of the Strix Soar is very large. I set a small impedance and for the Sennheiser HD 439 it is enough for the eyes. Multi-ohm headphones will definitely pull out the volume. There is no background in the headphones and acoustics. Quiet and smooth. The map looks solidly made, I did not notice any flaws. The cheap microphone stopped hissing, which is also a good plus. Convenient software for management, it is clear and understandable what this or that adjustment changes. And there's a lot of room for twisting. The drivers installed without problems and everything works without failures.
Cons
  • Little things that are not noticeable in everyday use. The sound clatters when switching the headphone / speaker output and when the PC is turned on. The engraved inscriptions to the nests are hard to see. To connect, you will have to look at the layout of the sockets on the box. There is no access to the front panel, but I do not use it. Perhaps someone will be confused by the additional power supply for the sound system. I didn’t have any problems with this, there are plenty of power wires on the PSU. The card is heating up, if you have any problems with the temperature in the case, then keep in mind.

I'm impressed! Exactly the product deserves your attention.

Very wow model! A few direct hands for music, and a WINAMP player to help, and this sound card works no worse than a studio one! And in games like heaven and earth in comparison with REALTEK 1150 - this is my IMHO ! E-TYPE - Greatest Hits in FLAC format will help you to adjust - settings, and you will be happy!

Pros
  • There is a sound, the sound is "SUPER" - it works with Windows 10 like 2x2, very understandable and responsive software, there is no white noise in games as they used to write ! The rest is in the comments!
Cons
  • When switching 16/24 frequency is lost! This is my flaw - I got a cold in my ear . I can not determine it !

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Bad product, not worth the money.

Everything is fine with the drivers (everything works fine). There are no pickups, although I have a budget power supply from cooler master elite v3. At the first start, the sound card clicked, but then the click disappeared.

Pros
  • A good headphone amplifier (the volume increases at times). From 70-100% it's already unpleasant to listen to (it's so loud). Good positioning in games. You can hear the enemy very well, the wheel of the car that hit the curb. For example, not just the left wheel, but the left front wheel.
Cons
  • 1) I have Pioneer ms5t headphones and I will compare the sound in the sound card and in the phone (phone without a DAC). The sound didn't change at all, I tried flac with foobar2022 and the quality didn't change even compared to Spotify mp3 and phone. 2) High price (I took for 4700 and it is also expensive for her)

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best price for such a product, I will buy more!

Excellent inexpensive sound card, suitable for games and for listening to music; of course you need to take care of decent headphones and acoustics, better of course multi-channel.

Pros
  • An excellent universal sound card, only the top-end ASUS Xonar Essence STX is better, but it is twice as expensive. Audiophile headphone amplifier TPA6120A2, the same as on the top card. The main gaming feature is Sonic Radar - a 360-degree indicator of direction and signal strength, which can give an advantage in games. The new stable driver version 12022022 solved many problems of the first drivers.
Cons
  • There is no HD Audio connector, like motherboards, to output sound to the front panel. For some, clicks (the sound of a relay) will be uncomfortable when turned on. The notorious 6-pin power connector. Owl's Eye can't be turned off.

For your money, what you need, the external remote control is pampering for + 3k, the volume control is through the ears, and if you really look at the movie through the speakers, then it's a matter of a couple of clicks. Got pros: The sound is better than the built-in, the software without any special glitches. With its cons: Click when turning on the PC in the headphones, you need a good UPS / surge protector and grounding. Then there will be no extraneous noise and interference from the…

Satisfactory product quality, good price.

You can take. Different pros: Good software, a lot of all sorts of functions and settings, for headphones and a microphone. Got cons: I didn’t find out, there is no grounding on the PC, no interference from the microphones or any kind of noise was noticed.

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Unsatisfactory quality, I won't buy it anymore.

Has some pros: The sound through ASIO seems to be quite good, nothing in games either. With its cons: The main drawback is that it dies for everyone, I repeat for ALL in 3-4 years (it just ceases to be determined by Windows)

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

ASUS Strix Soar turned out to be very successful, the maincomponents of the filling are the same as the top-end asus xonar essence stx ii, and the price is almost 3 times less. The card appeared in 2022 and is currently quite fresh, which gives us hope forcomntinued support with new drivers. This card will do any built-in, after it you will never return to Realtek. I recommend using a sinheiser, bayer speaker, audio equipment or the like with good headphones of the middle price segment. My…

Pros
  • SABRE9006A high-level 8-channel DAC Superb TPA6120A2 Headphone Amplifier Drives Headphones into 600 Ohms Convenient Strix SONIC STUDIO software The sound between headphones and speakers can be switched through the Strix SONIC STUDIO program Adequate price Although it is positioned as a gaming one, it is great for listening to music through good headphones.
Cons
  • You cannot change the backlight settings or turn it off completely. Requires additional power (for someone this may be a minus) When turning on the computer and when switching the sound between headphones and speakers, relay clicks are heard. There is no connector for connecting outputs to the front panel of the case

Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

I bought it as soon as it appeared on the market, I have been using it for about 7 years, nothing is buggy, it does not turn off, it does not fall off, I bought 75 euros in Europe Pros: the sound is fire, I still get high, mirror-clear and juicy, you can hear those sounds that you can’t hear on the built-in at all, in games, in music and in films, too With its cons: could be a little smaller and without additional power, requires a high-quality power supply. if there is none, it’s better not to

Revainrating 4 out of 5

What you need, a cool purchase, I advise you.

I bought it mainly for games, since in the same PUBG I didn’t always hear steps. I just didn’t take into account one moment when buying - I now have A4tech Bloody G501 headphones with a built-in sound card and a USB connection, i. E. they cannot use this new sound card. I found my old Phillips headphones, connected to the purchased card. I did not notice any special differences in music and video, in games there is more surround sound (although it may just seem so). I ordered new headphones for

Pros
  • - Clear, loud sound - More surround sound in games. In the same PUBG, steps, shots have become more clearly audible, although it is not entirely clear where the sound comes from - I did not notice any interference or extraneous noise
Cons
  • - High price - After reading reviews about pickups from other inhabitants of the system unit, I decided to plug this card into the farthest slot from the video card, for me it turned out to be the second PCI-E x16 slot. As a result, some wild lags began in the system. Since the motherboard is old, I decided that it could not pull both x16 slots at the same time, so I moved it to a free x1 slot. The brakes have decreased, but the Aero interface in Windows 7 still cannot work, I changed it to the classic one. Power supply for 650 W, the power should be enough with a margin. I do not quite understand what the problem is, perhaps the curves of the driver

A good product, I advise you to try it.

Bought to replace dx1. At the first listening, I liked the higher detail of the sound. When you turn on movies and games, only 2 channels come to the receiver. Conclusion: either by analogy with a multi-channel (which is not comme il faut), or this card is for headphones. Sadness in general, most likely I will put nazat dx.

In general, there were a lot of problems with this sound card (it can be attributed to my crooked hands . probably) . and not only those that are described. BUT! In general, I am satisfied. What I hear in the headphones and how I hear it makes me very happy. I will add once again that the price in my opinion is too high. Pros below: Well. I'm not that special in terms of sound, so I'll describe it in simple terms. There is a difference in comparison with the built-in sound card, and it is…

The purchase brought only positive emotions.

Everything works great, the best option, inexpensive and high quality. 10\10 Pros: Convenient application, all settings are intuitive. 192 Khz to any number of channels, without delay (it is so minimal that even a person who makes music does not notice it) works with midi devices. Great headphone amp, top notes don't squeak or break, clean, mids and bottoms are fine. I'm listening on a razer tiamat 7.1 v2 headset, I messed around with the connection a little. Some cons: When I unscrew the sound

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A normal product, but they wanted more for the money.

After Maudio revolution 5.1, which died after 8 years of service, it was not possible to achieve comparable sound quality on the same acoustics and headphones. The Surround effect is also beyond comparison. This card is not worth your money. Has some pros: The sound is better than on the built-in sound card. The Surround effect seems to be there. Rich equalizer, lots of profiles. Has cons: Cumbersome inconvenient software, non-switchable backlight, price / quality ratio.
